Scheduled FTP Reports

On the Reports Tab you will also find options for setting up Scheduled Reports.

Clients who have an FTP server on their network can set up regularly-scheduled reports to be sent automatically.

The reports are sent via FTP, not FTPS/SFTP, so the files are not encrypted. The ftp process we use will only work in Active mode, we do not support Passive/PASV mode.

Reporting Options:

All reports can be turned On and Off via their individual toggle switches. Enable the Daily Hours Report to receive a CSV file with total hours worked for the current day by each employee, at the time the report was sent. Each employee’s hours worked will be grouped by paycode.
Enable the Employee List Report to receive a CSV file with information on the employees you have in your system at the time the report is sent. Each report will contain First Name, Last Name, Department, Department Code, and Status. Configure your report further to add additional attributes to the report.
Enable the Clocking Report and receive a CSV file with a list of all Clocking Times that occurred in the current pay period at the time the report is sent. Enable the Time Clock Report to receive an up to the minute CSV list of the active time clocks and their time zones in your account at the time the report is sent. Enable the Status Report to receive a CSV list of your employee’s clocking status’ at the time the report is sent.

Report Schedule:

In this section, you can select when you would like to receive your reports.

Click the EDIT button to amend the Schedule.

Please bear in mind that you can only specify the FTP schedule time by the hour in Central Time (US).

Once you have created a schedule, click SAVE

Report Delivery:

In this section, you can add your FTP Server settings.

Click the EDIT button to amend your FTP information.

You will need to fill in or provide the FTP server name or IP in the FTP Host field within the uAttend portal. This IP has to be a public IP, or a NAT rule will be required to redirect the public IP address and port 21 traffic to the internal IP address of the FTP server.
Enable “Overwrite previous file” if you’re scheduling a specific report multiple times and want the most recent report to overwrite the previous one from the same day.  Disable “Overwrite previous file” if you’d like each file you receive have a unique name and never be overwritten.
Once you have set up your FTP Server, click SAVE
