Emailing Employee Timecards

This is a really great feature as it allows Employees to report any issues with their Timecard before you run Payroll
Administrators and supervisors with editing rights can allow timecards to be automatically emailed to employees on a regular basis.

Email Employee Timecards can be set to run Daily, Weekly or by Pay Period.

Employees automatically receive a report for the active Pay Period showing their hours to date.

To set up employee time card emails, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Users tab on the main menu.
  2. Select the user’s name from the list.
  3. Click the Employee Services link.
  4. Click the Edit link in the User Settings section.

  1. Select Yes from the Send Employee Time Card drop-down menu.

The Email and Send Time fields appear.

  1. In the Email field, enter the email address(es) to which you would like to have the time card sent.

If you would like the time card sent to multiple email addresses, you can separate each address with a comma.

  1. From the Send Time drop-down menu, select the frequency that you would like the time card sent.

The options are DailyWeekly, and Each Pay Period. If you select Weekly, the Day of Week to Send drop-down menu appears, allowing you to select the day of the week on which you would like the time card sent.

  1. Click Save.
