Adding, Amending and Removing Timeclocks

Adding Timeclocks

To add a timeclock to your account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your uAttend account as an Administrator, if you are not already logged in.
  2. Click the Settings tab on the main menu.
  3. Click the Clocking Management link.
  4. Click Add Timeclock.
  5. In the Device ID field, enter the Device ID assigned to the timeclock.

Enter the Device ID exactly as it appears, including dashes.

  1. In the Name/Location field, enter a name or location for the timeclock. Assign the timeclock a name that is easy for you to remember.
  2. Click Add.

You can now EDIT the settings as required:
Go to Settings > Clocking Management and Click on the EDIT button for the relevant device:

Now you can EDIT the Timeclock’s NameTimezone or Available Departments (Only available for BN, CB or MN ranges). For more information on setting up Available Departments, see this GUIDE

Removing Timeclocks

To remove a timeclock from your account, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Settings tab on the main menu.
  2. Click the Clocking Management link.
  3. To avoid creating “Orphaned” User IDs, remove or assign any entries in “Assign Users” prior to deleting the clock.

  1. From the list, click the red X that appears next to the name of the timeclock.

WARNING: You will be prompted to confirm that you wish to remove the timeclock !!!

If you are deleting a JR or DR timeclock and the device has been offline for some time, you will receive this warning message
